I promote digital sustainability and build energy-efficient, low-carbon websites through my not-for-profit, [Oasis of Change](https://oasisofchange.org).

## What I'm working on

- **Digital sustainability.** Measuring what websites cost in energy, carbon and water, then rebuilding them to use less. Best result so far: a 98% cut in energy and carbon.
- **Digital accessibility.** Helping organizations meet WCAG 2.2, ADA and Section 508 with [AccessibilityChecker.org](https://www.accessibilitychecker.org/).
- **AI safety and governance.** Research and youth engagement with [AI Governance and Safety Canada](https://aigs.ca) (AIGS Canada).
- **Speaking.** Keynotes, panels and a TEDx talk on artificial intelligence and technology. [See my talks](https://gabrieldalton.com/speaking.html).

## Formerly
